Very aggressive, very present and cutting in a live mix. Bartolini jazz pickups are really my favorite pickups, so I certainly am a little biased here. For my money they just flat out rock. This bass cuts through like a Zon but with more aggression and slightly warmer tone. Dead quiet. I consider it versatile. It has a jazz like tone, and we all know how many different styles of music a good jazz bass can cover.. Very impressed here.

Warrior basses typically setup very well and this one was no exception.
Slight gripe with the construction. Before I bought this, I'd heard of their "issues", and this one wasn't perfect but not bad. Just had a few little rough edges here and there that made me scratch my head. I couldn't help think how did they miss this, or don't they care more than this? Body around the lower horn looked as if they didn't finish sanding it out. It wasn't rough, but the curves weren't smooth. That was probably my only real gripe. Whatever finish they put on it, they didn't put in the G factor holes either, which BTW seem stupid. Those holes also were very rough inside as if they had not been sanded.
These issues didn't hurt anything, but come one. For $2400 that's not kosher.

I would think it would last a long time, but some of the things I mentioned above makes me wonder..

Great looking and sounding bass with excellent setup potential. If they could iron out a few wrinkles they would be great. They have a stink on them from some old gear that may never go away, and that REALLY hurts their resale value.. If you can find a used one it's usually a very good deal. They are worth it at that price, but the new prices are kinda high.
