This bass was made in 1991, in japan- Warwick were intending to move production to Germany but I don't know if this happened with the Dolphin Pro 2. 24 frets, fretted 4 string with Dtuner on the E string,
3 pots, volume, pan and stacked bass/treble boost & cut. Maple 3 piece bolt on neck to ash body (painted black in this case), the usual high quality warwick hardware includes 2 piece bridge, MEC pick ups & active electronics, wenge fingerboard & bell metal frets.

I play various styles of bass and this is the only instrument I own that can cope with everything, its very easy to 'tailor' the sound to whatever you want. The active circuit and usable pots give plenty of scope. Good sustain of notes on all parts of the neck.

Very well set up, i bought this Bass 'cos it was the most 'playable' i had tried, no problems with finish or action.

A great bass with an individual look, has always been reliable and is the strongest element of my set-up.

I have been playing for 18 years, I have a couple of hybrid fretless basses a Joe Meek VC6Q preamp and various amps & cabs. The thing I love about this bass is the 'package' as a complete rounded instrument nothing else has yet matched up (Status come next).
