This review is just a follow-up to the last review I posted.
It's been 9 months that I've been playing this bass now, and everything I said about it before still holds true.
I have a very very busy schedule of practicing and giging, and I have had zero problems. I don't play any other bass now. Poor things, just sitting there...
I have yet to adjust anything on this bass. I perodically check the intonation...it's as good as the day that I got it.
I've also noticed that it stays in tune very very well. Not just while I'm playing...but even after I put it in the bag, take it to another rehearsal and tune again. It's practically still in tune. Just out a little I guess from getting put in the car, driven to the next location, getting handled, etc.
I've gotten to record with this bass...and I love it for recording. The engineers I've worked with love it. I've recorded both with a korg d-16 digital multi-track and a professional pro-tools set up. The sound is even and clear. The electronics are quiet. and the B is BIG.
I'll say it one more time, the ONLY thing I wish this bass had was a mid-range knob. I thought about swapping the electornics...but this bass sounds fantastic as it is, I don't want to play with it. I'll just deal with adjusting the mid from my amp.

The my bass is made in Germany, 4 strings and 24 frets.
Wtih passive eletronics, has got a pick-up switch, volume and 2 tones.
Its pick-ups are S/S, with a great response in all situations.
The body is maple made, the neck is made of ash.
The paint is flame-top, but very fragile, with the minimum shock, it tears.A negative hardware, is its bridge.

Without amplification the sound is powerful yet.
The pick-ups offer a great number of tones, from metallic and direct, to deep and heavy.
This bass has greats harmonics all over the neck.
Perfect for all kind of music.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action was perfect at the factory, the neck was straight, proof of the quality of its wood. The bass hadn't got any flaw, and the neck shown the fantastic wood.

thin wenge neck, passive p/j MEC Dynamic Correction pickups, maple (i think) body kinda melty shaped, 24 brass frets, no dots on the fretboard, just on the sides, they are mother of pearl, chrome hardware, black warwick gig bag, white painted finish (rare for a warwick, most are natural finish)

I use it for pretty much everything but funk, i abhor funk, this bass isn't mean for it anyway, as it doesn't have tons of high end. It has a really warm, full, tight, and clean sound. Tone controls are more than enough, as i can run it through my head and speakers with a flat eq and it's perfectly balanced. It's kinda quiet, but it sounds beautiful
Action, Fit, & Finish
:10
Everybody who touches this bass says that it is one of the best playing basses they have ever tried. The action is perfect, low, fast, and no buzz. The finish is glossy white, now well aged into that sweet off-white color. This may sound crazy but the neck looks fantastic too, the wood is a little porous and has stripes of a lighter color running lenght wise.

It came with Jim Dunlock recessed straplocks, so the body will break before the strap comes out, so that isn't a problem. I had to change the tuners and the input jack, but the bass is getting really heavy daily use, so that is to be expected. The finish has held up wonderfuly, no dings or scratches, just a few little marks kinda by the input jack

The only time i contacted the company was to ask where i could obtain a hard case that would fit it, as it doesn't fit in normal cases

I have been playing for seven years, the amp i run this out of is a laney head and a 4x10 and 1x15 speaker enclosers. I think it was made in 93, but i may be wrong, as the serial number is 0-000373-93, if anybody knows more about this, please enlighten me.

the sound is great for that dave matthews band style that stefan lessard plays. the slapping is great if you can figure out a good enough setting. the variety is great and kicks me fender jazz basses butt. i use a ampeg b3 amp and for my practice amp i have a fender bxr 15 witch sucks i no but it sounds great on my ampeg

the finish is great but if i were to do over again i would get gold hard ware but i might install that in the future. there are no scratches what so ever on or under the finish. the neck is nice and the sliding action is great. the only complaint i have is that the neck is a little dirty.

ever since i got this guitar i havent stopped playing i love the look and style of this bass not to mention the unbeivable sound. i have a fender jazz bass and i use to have a p bass to but it broke (peice of crap) and this bass blows them away. if ever someone stole this or damaged it i would beat them into the ground. i played the corvette fna and the thumb bass and some of the tobias guitars and over all the fortress is the best.
