Features : 9
I have a 2006 PNut Signature II. Warwick made only 56 of these basses and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. This amazing German made bass has a Tiger Wood body with Purple Heart laminate and a Wenge Neck laminated with Purple Heart also.
The slab Ebony fingerboard is a dream to play. The MEC pick up's are great with a Humbucker at the bridge and a Jazz in the front with active passive switching. Feels great with a 34" scale and alos has a drop tuner on the B String..pretty handy.
I have rated this section at 9 only because the bass comes only with a gig bag. NOT GOOD ENOUGH PEOPLE AT WARWICK....THIS IS AN A$8000 INSTRUMENT. That is US$6160

Sound : 10
Unbelieveable !!! I have many basses and this must be the most even and consistent bass I have ever played. The tone is just there across the whole range.
The pick up config provides incredible versatility and the Active / Passive switching is really nice to have. Words cant describe the sound of this thing running through an Aguilar DB 750 head with their amazing GS412 Cabinet.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Off the shelf ready to go. Still for the price one would expect the factory to do a good job in this area. It truly is superb, however, like most Warwick's the neck can take a while to get used to due the the heavy feel around the neck shoulders. I know a lot of people get the necks a little re shaped...I have decided to just get used to it..
This bass is incredibly playable and feels just brilliant...this thing just wants to be played and makes me want to play even more...

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I havnt had this instrument long enough to give a meaningful rating...however...the build quality and playability gives me great confidence that this bass will work hard for a very, very long time.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never had to contact warwick...hopefully I wont have to.

Overall Rating : 10
I have to say 10...other than the fact that Warwick didnt provide me with a case...I just cant fault this thing...expensive? Yes!...but worth every last dollar.

The instrument is based on the Streamer Stage II which is well worth a look for anyone interested that missed vout on the limited signature build.
