i don't really have a style, this is my first bass, and i have never gigged.
good, quite powerful output on a 15W marshall amp, with a 240w hi-fi amp and 3 way speaker system.
twin volume controls give a good variation of sounds, although individual tone controls would've been nice. get it just right, with the right amp settings and it will give you a lovely, crisp clear tone, with good pickup sensitivity.

arrived at my door, opened it, played straight out of the box.
action was superb for me (very low), intonation set perfectly.
one flaw was a small black mark on the back of the neck, but it just polished off.

every thing is well sorted, and has never needed neck/action adjustments (in 9 months of playing)
hardware will last, benefits from a polish occasionally to keep it looking ace.
very hard paintwork, which does not scratch easily
never been gigged

been playing 9 months, have a couple of homemade amp rigs (hi fi's with squier amps).
i own a squier strat, marshall rocket (strat copy), squier tele (with kent-armstrong humbucker in the middle). I am building a 3 humbucker, floyd rose equipped custom for my friend.
if it was stolen, i'd cry, then buy another.
compared with squier p and j bass, much preferred over these two.
i wish it had another tone control, and maybe a pickup selector switch for a quick changeover.
i love the cool design, and good quality chrome hardware, i also love the slim neck and low action, also its very good build quality

Made in Korea, I believe 2003. 24 full size frets, a man's fretboard. Bolt on rosewood neck, solid body, wicked 'bull horn' shape that really grows on you the more you look at it, very comfortable sitting or standing. All black, everything! Twin soapbar type pick ups. Passive wiring, split (2 volume, 1 tone). It came well packed with a couple of allen keys and a lead.

It suits any bass style even with the 'gothic' looks, it sounds somewhere between warm and bright, not dark. Could be crisper, but that could just mean some new strings. All together very versatile.

Superb set up, you can request a low (or high) action before the bass is shipped, John Wesley is very helpful. The action was as good as it can be in my opinion. Hardware superb, no complaints. Same goes for electronics, no problems. Astonishing good value and quality.

This bass would withstand live playing easily, and makes a perfect reserve bass.

Wesley guitars are the last word in customer service. I previously bought a Les Paul copy which arrived with a snapped neck, I called up, it was all dealt with immediately. These guys build their reputation on the service they provide, at the time of writing I believe their Ebay feedback was 2200 at 100% !!!

I have been playing for a few years, guitar and bass. If this guitar was stolen, I would order another, why not at that price? I can't really think of any negatives at all, buy one today!
