I'm absolutely pleased with this piece of equipment. Violin Bass passive pickups, tone and volume controls.3 switches, Bridge, Neck & Mix. Response is beautiful. Round and spacey to the midrange solid style Bass. I?d like to give you all the gab about materials and make of machine heads, bridge & pickups. The truth is I don't know I believe the neck is maple and the fretboard I think is rosewood. Whatever or whoever made it I'm beyond pleased.

My style of playing Bass spreads across most genres. I play Soul, Funk, Reggae, Jazz and Rock. This Bass guitar can sound bright and perky or low and muddy this depends on your strings and your power source. I?ve only used this Bass in my studio, for me it?s close to mind blowing.
Action, Fit, & Finish

I was compelled to send a letter to Wesley Guitars to compliment John Wesley and his team. The finish on my guitar was flawless, and all my friends and associates say that I'm to fussy and very objective. Wood colouring, Laquer and hard wear I'm still trying to find fault. Part of my letter read "either I have received the wrong Bass guitar or this high quality finish is standard

This Bass guitar as opened up my musical spectrum. I won this instrument with the highest bid on eBay, and I'm absolutely over the moon. Bid won 22:40 31st August 2004, sent payment 09:23 on the 1st of September 2004, received instrument 10:30am 3rd September. The response is Unbelievable. I would not feel comfortable taking this guitar to a gig unless I had a gig bag or a hardcase.
This is the only major problem with this Bass guitar due to the shape it is very hard to find suitable protection for use when in transit.

I've only dealt with the Wesley Company on the internet; there responses to my emails were extremely fast and informative. I could not ask for more, I always felt as though I Knew what was going on behind the scenes. And for me to send a letter of appreciation and gratitude I have to say second to none in customer care. My receipt states a one year guarantee, after the experience I've had I'd have to believe them.

Since my winning bid on eBay I've been lost in the pleasure of playing such an instrument. This is a short scale Bass and the neck is slim and nicely lacquered which makes it feel fast. I?ve played a Hofner (original), EKO and an Epiphone copies. The Hofner Feels and sounds nice, but the price is off putting, the EKO and the Epiphone to me doe's not compare. I?m pleased to say that I believe they (Wesley Guitars) more or less gave this instrument to me.
