Westfield B4000

Not sure which year it was made in but its a 4 string fretted and as this is my first (Ive never even held another bass before) Im not sure I can comment or even understand most of the above questions. All I know is that its really comfy. I got it as a kit with an Amp,bag,dvd,strap and cables.

I play drums in a rock band and our bassist tried it out in a set and it sounded really good actually...not as good as his but his bass cost #500 and this one wasnt anywhere near that. As far as I can figure it has a wide warm sound to it and not as scratchy as I thought it would be.I think its perfect for me.

Its very well built in my opinion,the only problem I have with it is that the top control button is too close to the bottom string for my liking.

It should play well live but as I bought it purely to learn how to play I doubt I will ever play it in public. The strap buttons seem quite solid but Im not at the level of jumping about yet..I still need to look at my fingers and count frets.

I havent had to contact them but I found their website after a few hours of searching..they arent very easy to find at all. It came with a year guarentee but that was from the shop I bought it not the manufacturer.
