I read a review where the author was so pleased he brought one, so I got one too in 1985, Apparently cost ??189. It got used for 3 years before degree, marriage & kid got in the way. Midlife crisis means it's now out of retirement. Everyone who hears it now can't believe the range of sounds it can produce. It's also good for picking up radio reception if you point it in the right direction.

Good, it's active so the tonal range is impressive for an oldie.

I think it was OK when new, however it's now 23 years old. Usual dent's and scratches on the body - you would have to pay extra for the distressed look! The neck is still 100%. Brass bridge and pots still in good condition.

Everything works, it's very solid - should last forever.

Never used it - too late now; the factory burned down years ago..

Got to ebay and pick one up for less than ??100, I don't think there is a better value used bass available. I have the natural satin finish maple / ash body, this along with the body shape make it look a bit dated.
