Each individual pickup features both vintage Alnico and Isotropic ceramic magnets working together to create a unique voicing of snappy/bright mids and highs, with tight/compressed warm lows. Punchy and aggressive played clean and smooth and creamy when pushed hard.
There is extra shielding in the pick-ups which makes for quieter coil tap as a single coil.
Available in black or gold.

Instrument :
I fitted these pickups to an RS Guitars Custom.
I replaced the existing DiMarzio humbuckers with the bridge and neck Lucifers.
I was fortunate enough to try out a prototype version of the pick-up and liked very much what I heard.
I do not know of any artists using these pick-ups. I have friends who have bought them.

Sound : 10
The output level is high. They are powerful but clean. That was why I liked them. When you turn the guitar volume down they cleaned up unlike a lot of humbuckers I have used over the years.
I would say they are middy but they have this really clean edge to them. A nice tight tone.
I play in a classic rock band and they suit my sound perfectly.
I have found that the resistance values of the pick-ups suit their positions. They seem to be well balanced and whichever setting, work nicely.
On ym RS Custom I have a coil tap switch for both neck and bridge. I also have a phase reversal switch which will work in any combination of the pick-ups (humbucking or coil tapped).
There are a wide range of sound available with this switching and the pick-ups really do suit this guitar.
The bridge pick-up has a tight humbucking tone with plenty of warmth but the clarity is amazing. You really can tell all the strings apart. Coil tapping produces a brighter edge but still very useable. The neck has a raspier edge to it and even more so when using it coil tapped. Very flutey.
They offer a powerful tone in humbucking mode but combinations in and out of phase or coilt tapped give so many very useable tones with a rich or bright, screechy or flutey sound. So many variations. All excellent.

Overall Rating : 10
I didn't use the guitar too much with the DiMarzio's in it but since I changed to the Lucifer pick-ups, the guitar has sprung to life and I use it a lot more now.
I have been playing for 32 years and these pick-ups sound like nothing I have used before.
I could not wish for a better set.
The price alond warrants buying a set just to experience a great tone. You will not be dissapointed.
These can be set close to the strings too as the magnets are set lower into the pickup baseplate. The rails sit on top of the magnets so therefore there is no magnetic pull on the strings. You are able to get the maximum output from these.
