Overall Rating : 10
Comments: Tone is so subjective, there are many great winders ( Lollar, Fralin, ect.) The Hamels nail the sound of a 54 Strat I had the pleasure to briefly play and compare. Great complexity , chime and clarity. They have less of the midrange mud that conventional Strat pickups sometimes have. Alan can explain the details of his construction. Only downside is they cost a bit more and may take time to get but they are well worth it.
