Instrument

placed these in gibson les pauls, a 59 historic reissue 2001 and also in a les paul traditional. I placed these in both bridge and neck. I have several les pauls. I have tried every pickup gibson makes. Some I was fairly happy with. I have one burstbucker 2 I like a lot. I have played guitar since 1967, been to luthier school and built a number of electrics mostly as a hobby. I have probably tinkered with guitars as much as anyone except the likes of Dan
Erlewine. I am and always will be on a quest for great tone.

The output is exactly what you would expect from this type of pickup. I have several amps Fender - deluxe, pro, concert, princeton and vox ac-15 being my favorites. All have great speakers alnico blues etc. Tone- forget it words cant describe. These exhibit the best of all qualites and again ive tried a ton of em over the years. Duncans,Dimarzios (the big names); and some of the little names. This is not to say there aren't great pups out there but these nail it. I can get great jazzy sounds, great r+b, classic rock, blues you name it just by adjusting the vol. and tone pots. If you crank a vintage tube amp and open up the vol. pot you can get everything from Gibbons to Page AND throw in some Angus for fun depending on your amp and speaker combination.

I'll never put anything else in these two guitars. All the other questions that I was supposed to answer here I already did. I cant tell you how happy I am with these. By the way Jerry is probably the coolest guy you could work with. He truely takes great pride in making people happy and actually gives a damn. I actually didnt know Jerry made paf style pups. I came to him through a well known nashville player when I was looking for some great tele pups. And yes his tele pups are also dynamite.
