Features :

Instrument :
Had one in my Fender deluxe Telecaster, rosewood. very good Pickup. Its loud, dynamic and has a "chrunchy" felling. I changed him and build in the Amber blues which is similar the same but has more bass and the crispy sounds are gone...not that sound i hope... , so after all this faults i go for the real P94s whichs are my favorites in a Tele. but i had to work some weeks on that.

Sound : 8
much more output as the stock Fenders, very dynamic and clear sounding. bass, mids and hihgs are perfect. For classic Tele players that like a bit more rawness- a heaven, ( think Black crowes, Springsteen, Stones etc. ) but for me not enough ( think Pearl Jam, Aerosmith and Maiden ;-)
Play a Plexi and a Engl, V30 and g12h speakers 4x12 and 1x12 cabs.
just some delays and wahs. Strats, Teles, Paulas, acustics...
My main guitar is a custom build Strat but i love the simple style and handel of my Tele...jazzy rubber soul.

Overall Rating : 10
A hot vintage singlecoil that has a little charakter of a p 90.
I like the real P94 more.
but in comparing with Duncans, Dimarzios and Fenders another league
thing college and super bowl.

Features :
very nice passive tele bridge pickup, handwinded with alnico 5 rods and plain enamel wire. just very close to the ancient original! and yes - a real singlecoil rated at 8 kohm, so it's a bit of a fatter tele bridge pickup. this is why it is called vintage plus.

Instrument :
this beast replaced the stock bridge pickup of my fender amv '62 custom tele reissue. the stock pickup was quite ok but i was missing some punch and a bigger midrange. other pickup at the neck is the amber country. i don't know any artist to use this pickup but this is sure to come...

Sound : 10
so as i said, the output level kicks this pickup in the fatter tele range but it's very balanced to an ever lower rated neck pickup. there's just a bit more punch coming from the bridge but that's what i like! it's not that trebly like a typical '60 era tele bridge pickup but still has enough highs to cut through. the bass response is very spongy and defiend, not muddy. but where it's at is this fat and big midrange i'm addicted to! i play blues, rock, funk and soul and it is just an awesome pickup for these styles. i use a twintone II by koch and that is just way to go with this sound...

Overall Rating : 10
if it's going to disappear out off my tele or it's going to be distroyed, i would replace it as fast as it's possible! i do need this pickup! compared to my other tele's stock bridge pickup it is a bit more on the balanced side and more defiend. there's just nothing to hate about and it is for you tele maniacs like i am who search the true roy buchanan sound and that's what we all do searching...
