Features :
humbucking, passive, speca ;i am not sure of the inpedance because they don't list that information.fairly hot

Instrument :
I put it in a charvel model four, switching it from the active mid boost system to the passsive HN3.The pickup is installed in the bridge position.Jackson J50BC.Two SD2+ single coils.Vivian Cambell of Def Leppard.I just wanted a better sound and more versatilaty.

Sound : 10
The output is petty hot,yet it is dead quiet and very articulate.I use a Mesa Boogie Dual Recto triple channel.Boss ch1,Boss dd6,digitech x-series,phaser,flanger,digiverb.MXR super comp.I play everthing from classic rock to speed metal.I even do some country. It is excellent for rock and metal of all kinds.I might be to hot for the a neck position

Overall Rating : 10
I would buy it again,I been playing for 25 years plus.I own a Berringer Vampire comb'gnx3,Gibson Les paul,Martin hd28. They are very well balanced, quiet, powerfull, harmonics are good, good base response, upper mid range and all tonal seem to be clear and articulate. I compaired to most major pick-up makers like Duncan, Dimarzio. I chose these ones because of the larger pull peaces. I felt it would give better string distribution. I wish it had color variations, zebra coils, and crome or gold covers for Les Paul type. Very satisified, and like one of the other reviewers said, possibly one of the best pickups on the market with the exception of Bareknuckle pickups, which I may put in my Les Paul. The price also makes for a great value, and I will be using them in other guitars. The hn3+ is the pickup I might try in my Les Paul if I can't get the Bareknucle pickups. I was about ready to trade or get a rid of my Dual Recto until I tried the Anderson pickups thru the amp. The difference is mind blowing.

Model of guitar or bass: Warmouth George Lynch copy.
Position: bridge
Pickup being replaced: Full Shred
Other pickups on guitar: Cool rail
Artists using this pickup: Jake E Lee
You musical style(s): Rock
Reason for pickup change: Just thought I'd see how it sounded

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Hot, more than Full Shred
Tone: Open, crisp, balanced, nice bottom,
Sonic evaluation: Aforementioned ax and Marshall tube amp

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Rock. This pickup works well for fast picked playing.

Overall Rating : 8
Comments: This pickup is an improved upon Full Shred. It has a less sterile high end and is punchier in the mids and bass. It is fast responding and articulate. It's sound is not typical of the other pickups in the Anderson line. It's a bit more focused and has tighter mids.
