Slightly hot PAF style humbucker. I chose vintage 2-conductor wiring and satin nickel cover.

I replaced the stock bridge p/u in my Traveler MkII. It was OK, but generic sounding.
Sound

Output is slightly hot, but not crazy, over the top. Tone is warm but not wooly, and clear but not strident. Very good note-to-note definition, even when overdriven. I've tried it through small solid-state combos and fairly large (50 Watt) tube amps, and sounds fine whatever. Works well with pedals, too.

I would replace this p/u again in a heartbeat if I needed to. I've been playing Folk, Rock, Blues, and Country for 30+ years, and have owned dozens of different guitars, usually modifying them with after market p/u's. There is an elusive quality to the tone that makes me smile, and it's changed a usable instrument into an inspiring one.
