Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Not very hot

Sonic evaluation: I play thru a Behringer GDI21 amp simulator, with headphones. I'm very happy with the sound. I've tried several high quality pickups (Seymour Duncan, Gibson, etc) on this guitar without very good results. This old piece of junk sounds perfect. Very clear and heavy tone, without any muddiness. Good string separation. Sounds best with distorted sounds, not very impressive clean.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Heavy metal. Works fine.

Overall Rating : 9
Comments: I will probably never get my hands on another one of like this. But if the one I have breaks down, I would try to get something similar.
