Perceived output level: Like a PAF copy should - low /medium output
Tone: Bassy and muddy, not enough treble. Not enough clarity.
Sonic evaluation: Used with a Fender Blues Deluxe valve amp.
These are probably the cheapest replacement pickups. A lot better than the stock pickups but the tone is too muddy and not enough treble.

Comments: I have been playing for 25 years. The pickup is very cheap and good value but if you want a serious tone I think you need to spend a bit more money. A lot of PAF copies are too high in output, SD's for example, this one is just right and would suit an improvement for a cheap copy but no more.
