Features :
Pickup features: Passive Humbucker
Impedence or other specs: Closed

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: BC Rich Platinum Series Mockingbird
Position: all positions
Pickup being replaced: This pup
Other pickups on guitar: same pup on neck
Artists using this pickup: don't know
You musical style(s): 70/80's Metal, Hard Rock, Blues
Reason for pickup change: Well, this pickup is stock. I took this one out and replaced it with DiMarzio Super Distortion.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: almost same or slightly less than Super Distortion
Tone: Metaly but Muddy.
Sonic evaluation: I have small practice amp, Marshall MG15 and I run this guitar throught MXR Distortion+. With this pickup, it was impossible to get warm tone. I had to have Treble, on my amp EQ, atleast at 3 o'clock to have the clear sound, and it was early.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Metal, and not versatile.

Overall Rating : 4
Comments: It was ok, as an stock pickup of BC Rich. If you like mid-scooped sound, which I don't like, this pickup is gonna do the job fine. But if you don't like Mid-scooped horrible sound, this pickup is not for you.

Features :
Pickup features: Humbucker-Passive
Impedence or other specs: BLACK-CLOSED

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: BC Rich Platinum Supreme Warlock (stock pickups)
Position: all positions
Pickup being replaced: NONE
Other pickups on guitar: SAME
Artists using this pickup: NONE
You musical style(s): METAL999 (a few styles of) PUNK IS DEAD AND SUCKS
Reason for pickup change: DIDN'T CHANGE

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: A METAL stock pickup
Tone: 999Sounds METALY but is still stock999
Sonic evaluation: I use a crate GX212 and a behringer V-amp, sometimes a DOD death metal dist. Supprisingly enough I've managed to get some decent sound out of it.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Only play METAL999, if good at anything it's good at that. Bridge and Neck sound the same.

Overall Rating : 3
Comments: It's just a stock pickup. BC Rich tried to make it sound more Metaly but in the end it's still a stock pickup. Basically don't buy these for you guitar. Go on Ebay if your poor and spend the extra 80 bucks and get some decent pickups. If you more poor than that I recommend the krammer quad rods. They're not great but they're pretty great for the price. About 50 bucks for two.
