Features :
custom wound humbucker sized p90 in creme and chrome.

Instrument :
i had this installed in a '73 guild m75/bluesbird. i had it replace the stock bridge pup. my reason for changing the pup was i wasn't happy with the bridge tone. it was either too mellow, too bassy, too trebley. i tried different cabs, settings, tubes, etc etc, and finally i said, the pup is the only thing left. i run a '69 sunn studio pa head into a '68 guild 2x15, and am in the process of putting together a 4x12 from stoneage cabs with scumback h75's speakers and possibly weber blue dogs in an x pattern.

Sound : No Opinion
i tried different cabs, settings, tubes, etc etc, and finally i said, the pup is the only thing left. i run a '69 sunn studio pa head into a '68 guild 2x15, and am in the process of putting together a 4x12 from stoneage cabs with scumback h75's speakers and possibly weber blue dogs in an x pattern. i also run a '69 guild thunderstar bass head and matching 1x15. style of music i play is kinda classic rock meets doom type stuff. the tone i was looking for, and he nailed it with the pup, was leslie west meets tony iommi meets matt pike on high on fire's art of self defense tone. basically, something warm, thick, articulate, and a hint of fuzzy to it. and he nailed it in spades. everytime i plug i'm still all smiles at my tone and i am one jaded man when it comes to tone. but this pickup was the final piece i needed. probally the best investment i've ever made.

Overall Rating : 10
if it was lost, which i can't see happening unless less i lose my guitar, or destroyed, which it is top notch build quality so probally not, i would not hesitate to order another one or possibly two. i actually thought about buying another guitar just to have another one made for me. haha. i love everything about it. my only complaint, and it is comepletely silly, is it's chrome and creme, and my guild has faded gold hardware, so i wish it was gold and creme, but it sounds soooo good that i really don't care. and plus my hand is right there so you can't tell. i can't recommend brian and his pups more. great customer service and an amazing product.
