Features :
Bridge pu: 7.1K
Neck pu: 5K

Instrument :
I put the set in my 50's homebrew tele/broadcaster, replacing duncan abtiquities.

Sound : 9
I use a Vox AC30, a Tweed Deluxe 1X12 (modded w 6L6 tubes and Celestion G12M spkr), and a Tweed Bassman. Various vintage OD pedals, Wah,and reverb tank. This pu set is a super representation of the early 50's tele/broadcaster tone. Bridge cuts, wo ice pick highs, solid in mid range (no weak thin tone here...extra thick ferrus plate on bottom and light wax potting), and bass is nice and spongy. Perfect balance of twang and punch. The neck, although low output at 5K, has a great clear, clean, airy tone...almost strat like, and pairs very well w the bridge. Not as dark as typical tele neck, very uesable tone in middle and neck postion.

Overall Rating : 9
I would no doubt replace. Been playing for 20yrs, and these are some of the best pus I have played. Fan of Jason Lollar and Peter florence voodoo pus. These are more like Jason's, since he does not do the "aged" thing. Now, if you want that "aged", or better put degaussed tone, these are not you. Again, these pus sound new and sharp, not harsh. They sound great for rock or country...strong enough to hit the front end of the amp, but not too strong where you can't play it clean as well. The Duncan's I took out were much thinner in the mids, and the neck was a little muddy. Check out the Bare knuckle line, they do more than tele pus. I played one of there other tele sets in a guitar in NYC and they were awesome as well.
