Instrument :
I have played guitar for 30 years and allways tried to achive great natural tone from my instruments , i have ended up playing two guitars at every gig i do tem being a relic Fender Strat and a 1959 Gibson Les Paul reisue being a prodomenently blues player i tried to emulate the sound of my heroes such as Stevie Ray Vaughan ,Hendrix, Gary Moore, ect.. for the Strat ive tried having pickups rewound by kent armstrong to my dislike, i tried standard pup's that came with the relic they were ok then i changed to Texas Specials from fender i stuck with them thinking that these were the ones then a guy in a guitar shop sold me a set of Lindy Fralins 5% under wound wich were clearer than the specials being underwound i was told gives more tone, well i am not sure of that anyway i stayed with them becase i thought i tried the lot then in a shop a guy stuck a set of Irish Tours in my hand they looked nice i asked if they didnt make me happy can i bring them back he said ok so off i went to put them on the relic.

The Irish Tour were absolutely amazing they made my Relic Strat jump into life like i had never heard it before totally clear big sound and totally natural i can get any sound out of these pup's from Mark Knopler To Stevie Ray Vaughan i wuld never belived that something that sounds as good as these could be made in the U.K, I used to think only the USA could make great sounding equipment but these deserve th be shouted about as i am totaly happy with them ,oh i have a few amps i use my main one at the moment is Fender Supersonic which is great i also use Blackface 1965 fender Supereverb and a 1969 Marshall Superlead 100watt Head the speakers i prefer is celestion G12H and the new Celestion Alnico Gold since buying the Irish Tour pup's for my strat i phoned to order the set of Mule's for my Les Paul and the Knowlege that these guys at Bare Knuckle have is second to none they were very helpfull and willing help me choose what i needed for my Les Paul and i have tried Dimarsio,Seth Lover ,Gibson 57 pick up's, Burstbuckers, then now i am Using the Mule's and they knock spots off any of the others ive tried truly a great sounding totaly organic sound and lets the wood of the guitar ring through , thats about it i have no negative or dislikes about either set of these great sounding PickUps .....
