I fitted the P91 to replace a GOTOH soap bar I used when I built the guitar three years ago. It is a single (Bridge) pickup telecaster shape. A friend had installed Bare Knuckle Stormy Mondays on his Gold 335 copy and transformed it so I thought I'd try something similar.

I was looking for that more traditional electric blues sound of the 60's. the p91 gives a nice clean sound at low to medium volume and gets assertive but not agressive when fully turned up. Nice sustain.

I've been playing for over forty years and building my own for seven.
I've had a variety of guitars and enjoy playing various styles. The 91 is proving perfect for blues. However for country rock I go back to strat single coils.
The other point I'd make is that Bare Knuckle are good to deal with. A man called Tim was happy to talk on the phone and discuss what I wanted before recommending the 91. He was enthusiastic about his product. Like buying a tailor made suit as opposed to off the shelf.
