Perceived output level: slightly hotter than the stock pickup
Tone: balanced and clear.. so clear, the tone is spectacular, and it is so clear, you can hear everything.. beautiful.
Sonic evaluation: Playing an esp ltd ec-50 (les paul lookalike) through a Carvin halfstack - has incredible clean tone.. can sound like anything you want..
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: This pickup would work fine in a bridge location as well.. but it has such great clarity. and it sounds great distorted as well

Comments: I would buy another Bartolini, I have used 4 different ones, and they are by far the best pickups I've ever heard.. I love the clarity, the tone... I don't hate anything about it. I compared it to seymour duncan, and there is no comparison, in my opinion.. I'm completely satisfied with this pickup.
