Artists using this pickup: Dunno...
You musical style(s): Punk-Influenced .. Indie Rock, Emo, or something like that..
Reason for pickup change: Got the Bartolini for cheap, and I didn't even use the stock neck pickup..

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: slightly hotter than the stock pickup
Tone: balanced and clear.. so clear, the tone is spectacular, and it is so clear, you can hear everything.. beautiful.
Sonic evaluation: Playing an esp ltd ec-50 (les paul lookalike) through a Carvin halfstack - has incredible clean tone.. can sound like anything you want..

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: This pickup would work fine in a bridge location as well.. but it has such great clarity. and it sounds great distorted as well

Overall Rating : 10
Comments: I would buy another Bartolini, I have used 4 different ones, and they are by far the best pickups I've ever heard.. I love the clarity, the tone... I don't hate anything about it. I compared it to seymour duncan, and there is no comparison, in my opinion.. I'm completely satisfied with this pickup.
