Extremely versatile pickups, great balanced tone in all positions - neck, bridge or both, both selected and coil tapped provided a surprisingly pleasant Fender-ish single coil sound, coil tapped on their own the sound is clear but not too bright, full humbucker sounds do what they say on the tin and very well!! I tested these through a Fender Hot Rod Deville - both clean and drive channels - they are just creamy smooth in all styles - another quality hand-made product from Hayden Minnett - you just can't go wrong with these quality hand-wound pickups and you can specify black, cream, zebra (either way!), potted or not - the only thing you pay extra for is covers if required!!!

I will continue to use Bulldog pickups because the choice of materials and quality of craftmanship is second to none making them amazing value for money - I've used or tried virtually every type of guitar and pickup marketed since about 1975 including many boutique marques - these do exactly what you'd expect them to - sound better and justify their price tag - more than can be said for many other big name brands.
