Comments: I am submitting this to correct an error in my earlier review. I had
commented that the Seymour Duncan pickup that I was replacing was too
noisy. Well now that I have replaced the pots for a second time the
noise has disappeared. I still favor the Chandler as I feel that I get more warmth and bell-like tone, but in all honesty the difference is subtle and negligible.

Features :
Pickup features: single coil
Impedence or other specs:

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Custom Thinline Tele, Warmoth Parts Guitar
Position: neck
Pickup being replaced: Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro
Other pickups on guitar: Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro
Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): folk-rock, blues, swing jazz
Reason for pickup change: I felt that I was getting too much noise from the Duncan pickup.
Plugged into certain amps it was obnoxious.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Comparable to the Duncan
Tone: Warmer and more bell like than the Duncan, beautifully balanced. Quiet!
Sonic evaluation: Peavy Transfex Stereo. I built it a new cabinet containing 10" Reverend and 12" Jensen speakers.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Beautiful clean tones for country, blues, jazz.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Comments: I am very pleased with this purchase. It is the Fender tone only richer from top to bottom, and I have never played a quieter single coil.
