Reason for pickup change: I'm in a learning, experimental phase. Wanted to hear several pups to compare. So far these Chubtones, Fralin Real 54's, and EMG DG' Pros are my favorites. They are all different and cover a variety of sounds.

Perceived output level: more giddyup than stock wound
Tone: Full, with vintage depth and range. Muscular Tele twang to nasty Chicago Blues
Sonic evaluation: Blues Jr with Celestion G-12H. All Mahogany body and neck with Ebony board. Went with Mikes recomendations as to pup choice and I wouldn't hesitate to do that again.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Blues, rock, R&B, modern country.

Comments: I will order more Chubtones for my next guitar. I am a relative newbie and Mike was fantastic to deal with.
