Sonic evaluation: Read the review of a regular Fatocaster to see what the basic switch is and does.
Deaf Eddie is a very cool guy that is willing to work with you for whatever you want. I had an original Fatocaster switch and wondered if I could get the middle pickup and bridge pickup in series (in addition to the neck and mid in series). Deaf Eddie said "Sure!" and made me a custom switch at no extra charge. He even named it after my place of residence.
The neck and bridge Tele type tone is worth the price of admission alone. I wind up using that sound alot.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Bluesy, rocky funky chicken pickenish type stuff

Overall Rating : 9
Comments: I put this switch in 3 strats. I am very happy with it. If I get another strat with 3 single coils you can best bet that I will get another one. It gives you more usable options than you have stock. I stress that the options are very usable and musical. This is not some mod that makes you guitar sound like something it is not, it just kind of enhances what you already have. Yes, it will still basically sound like a strat, but it has some nuances that a regular strat does not. There are a few Gibson-esque sounds and a Tele-like sound, but it is still very strat like. This is a worthwhile addition for the strat player that has been playing strats for a long time and wants something a little different without switching guitar brands or models.
