Features :
Medium-output passive single-coil sized humbucker, for the bridge of a Tele.

Instrument :
Mine's in the bridge of my Highway One tele, replacing the stock pickup. I changed it because I wanted to get a thicker humbucking sound, and didn't have the money for a new guitar.

Sound : 7
I play my tele through a Marshall 50DFX - it's not exactly amazing, but until I get an Orange it'll have to do. I also have an Ibanez tube screamer and a cry baby. I play classic rock covers (a lot of The Who) and jam with my friends. I was looking for something deepier and bassier, and it is - but also very bright and twangy because of the maple fretboard. To me, it doesn't sound that good at all.

Overall Rating : 7
I've been playing for five years. Needless to say, I can't justify buying a lot of guitars yet, and a while ago I had a strong urge to sell my house and buy a Gibson. Not a great option, so I got a humbucker for the guitar I already have. I regret it. Buying this pickup is basically trying to turn your Tele into something it isn't. Needless to say, I've got some Texas Specials on the way.

Features :
Medium-output single coil sized humbucker for the bridge of a Tele.

Instrument :
I put one in the bridge of my Highway One tele, replacing the stock pickup. I changed it because I was looking for a heavier sound and couldn't afford a new guitar. Of course I'd rather have a new Les Paul or SG but I don't have a few thousand dollars lying around.

Sound : 7
Well, it sounds heavier, like I expected. But I came to regret the purchase. I was expecting a heavy humbucking sound, like the bridge of Les Paul. It sounds like an awfully wimpy Les Paul. Thick, but very twangy with the maple fretboard. Now my Tele could do metal if necessary, but it sounds like what it is - A Tele pretending to be a Schecter or PRS or something.

Overall Rating : 7
If it were stolen, I wouldn't buy it again.

I've been playing for about 4 years, the Tele is my only guitar, hence my trying to make it more versatile.

Basically, I regret it. I tried to make my Tele into something other than a Tele, and it sounds worse because of it. Don't buy a Humbucker for your Tele. Buy some better single-coils.

Features :
Passive, single coil (Tele) sized rail humbucker

Instrument :
Telecaster, bridge; replacing Duncan Vintage Stack

Sound : 9
Output: Medium humbucker, high relative to traditional Tele
Tone very balanced
Style: Contemporary worship, rock blues, country; great match for any of these; it would do metal if it needed to.
Boss Comp, Blues Driver, DOD Chorus, Digitech Delay, Traynor 15 watt tube

Overall Rating : 10
I would replace if stolen. 30 years playing. Needed something with more output to cut through mix, but not a muddy humbucker - - this did it.
