White humbucker set - bridge: 16.41k, neck: 8.55k
Bridge pickup is a 4-wire with available coil-tap.
Neck is a 2-wire only.
Pickup mounting holes are NON-STANDARD SIZE!!!

I put these pickups in a Davison flying v copy to upgrade the junk ones it came with. I ran into an issue right away - the mounting holes on the humbuckers are non-standard size (smaller than normal pickups) and they didn't come with mounting screws. Luckily, I keep a lot of extra parts and I found some old, rusty screws that would work. I'm very unhappy that they didn't mention the size in their ad, nor did they include any screws with them.

The pickups sound pretty good overall. I wired them for straight humbucker setup, without the coil tap. They have a pretty good output, and seem to be pretty quiet. They're definitely better than the ones they replaced! The tone seems pretty balanced and the neck pickup gets a good creamy sound like it should. I mostly play hard rock/metal/instrumental stuff and so far I think they will suit me fine.

If it was destroyed or stolen I would probably not buy them again. I like GuitarFetish's pickups better, and the quality seems to be better. The whole thing with the odd sized pickup mounting holes really pissed me off, and kind of burned me on this company. It just shows me their company has a lack of detail and or concern for the customer.

this is advertised as the "distortion humbucker" by dragonfire.

I put this in an agile 2500 les paul copy in the bridge. I have used tons of pickups. gibson 490, 496t, 500t. dimarzio superdistortion, bill lawrence xl500, seymour duncan invader, pearly gates, super distortion and a few others, this no name, low price dragonfire pickup I bought on a whim on ebay just has tone for days. it brought my agile to life. the more I play it the more I like it. I bought the neck pickup as well and really like it too. amazing string separation and detail. I will be buying more. just what I have been looking for.

the tone is hard to describe. suffice to say it sounds pro big time. I am just blown away at the detail of the sound and the tone. very quiet too. I hope this pickup works as well in my other guitar I am putting one in. complex chords come thru great as does leads. no muddy mess here. considering this is from an unknown company, is dirt cheap and shames the big names, I have to give this a 10. rare value
