Dragonfire High Output Single Coil

Single coil, low-end (low-price) Stratocaster pickups loaded in the pickguard.

Put into a Partscaster. The control and pickup cavity was completely shielded with tape. I used these because they were economical. The guitar was an experiment.

The pickups were quite well-balanced and tone responsive with an unsurprising bit of distortion at all positions. They did not respond with what I would call a classic Strat sound but were very good for my purpose.

The guitar was parted out along with the loaded Dragonfire pickguard. At the time I had no reason to keep them. I probably would not use them again as I've found much better alternatives but for someone who's fooling around putting Partscasters together it's an excellent start.
