Features :
I have two teles with emg pick-ups. they are active and very hot.

Instrument :
I replaced both of my stock teles sets with these because I hated the feedback issues I had.

Sound : 10
these pickups are as I said above hot and very clear. I have to roll off a bit of treble on the guitars to keep the high end from being piercing but that is much better than muddy sounding pickups. I play through a fleet of amps and usually play without effects. These Nashville well and also can be tough hot bluesy one as well. I love 'em. I have thought of putting some in a strat as well.

Overall Rating : 10
10...My Teles will always have EMGs in 'em.

Features :
Pickup features: active single coil
Impedence or other specs: syo'ng choi ha bongook syel met nik (written in chinese)

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: fender standard mexi tele
Position: all positions
Pickup being replaced: stock
Other pickups on guitar: EMG's
Artists using this pickup: me, myself and I
You musical style(s): everything from King's x to classic rock to blues, jazz, shred
Reason for pickup change: neede more output and sustain

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: about one third again as much as stock
Tone: very clean with overdrive, clean clean sound,
Sonic evaluation: tele-rp200-peavey amp, rich sweet and bright, but could use a little more sustain on the high end, but great tone, if you need a higher output for you tele with better tone, EMG is the way

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: suitable for punk/alternative, some hard rock(king's x), blues jazz pretty versatile

Overall Rating : 9
Comments: if it were stolen, I'd wonder at what kind of dumbass would take the pickups and leave the guitar, but I'd probably buy more, they're pretty good
