This came as stock in my Epi Les Paul in the bridge position and has since been ripped out and thrown violently at a brick wall.

The output is suprisingly low. It sounds muddy as all hell and even through a line 6 pod sounds bloody terrible (this has never happened to me before) I generally play 70's rock and anyone who tells you that this pickup is suitable has never used a decent pickup before. I cannot stress enough how bad this pickup sounds.

anyone wishing to steal a guitar with one of these pickups either needs to lay down the reefer for a while or look at raising the bar on the Theft-o-meter. My advice would be to rip this pickup out and buy something like a Seymour Duncan Classic V or even a Gibson 57 classic plus. Dont forget to replace your pots

Output level is weak, weaker than neck pickup
Very muddy and unbalanced
Not a good match for classic rock/pop

Not worth replacing. Been playing over 40 years and this pickup doesn't even resemble the Gibson vibe as advertised. No chime, no ring. Replaced it with GFS Mean 90, and all is very well with my guitar.
