:
No Opinion
Perceived output level: A little hotter than the standard single coil
Tone: Very clean, clear & balanced.Slightly more toward the mid & trebly side..
Sonic evaluation: I'm using a Fender Telecaster Plus through a zoom 2020(which sounded awful until a bought the tele)& then into my Peavey Studio Chorus 210 amp.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: The Tele Lace Sensor has proven to be a very vesitile p/u.I use it mainly for Jazz/Rock .So far,It has exceeded my expectations. The bridge lace has the ability to cross the line into hard rock w/no problem. The mid & bridge combo is the best funky clean chorused sound I ever had.The neck lace smokes w/distortion & provides a good clear lead sound.//I dont recomend this p/u for heavy metal or as a primary hard rock utensil. But it can hang when needed.
Overall Rating
:
10
Comments: I would definetly buy this p/u again & would recomend it for those that are playing several styles.//I started as a guitarist when I was 6 years old & have now been playing for 30 years.I took me 26 years to find "that sound"./I also own a Jackson W/a paf bridge & hs3 mid & lace gold in the neck.(my metal guitar)//The Tele gold lace sensor has motivated me to perform better & has caused me to write better. Its that sound!!

Perceived output level: Output of the neck and middle are hot. Bridge not as much. Balance these carefully by setting the heights!
Tone: Clear and very clean. Bridge pickup plenty bright - it's a Tele, right? Others nicely balanced.
Sonic evaluation: I didn't really love the sound with the original strings on the
guitar, which were 9's. I put 11's on the guitar (wound G) and
reset the pickup heights to balance the pickups. Now it sounds
_wonderful_. These pickups really work well with the bigger gauge
strings.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: These are good for most things, but I prefer Texas Specials for a darker blues tone.

Comments: I'd buy these again. I love these quiet, accurate, and flexible
pickups. You can shove them right up against the strings and this
gives you lots of ways to balance the pickups to color the overall
sound of the combinations. Big strings help this out, too. I run
the bridge a little hot. I played a whole room full of guitars with
money as no object and took this one (U. S. Tele Plus new style)
home. With the big strings these pickups sound excellent.
I don't get that real "SRV" sound out of this so I got a Lonestar
Strat with Texas Specials for that tone. But the Tele Plus is my
number 1 guitar.
I _do_ wonder whether I might like another Fender Lace color (Silver
of Blue) on this guitar but I'm not likely to mess with a good thing.
