Features :
Pickup features: Single coil, passive
Impedence or other specs: I measured it at about 5K

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Mexican Tele
Position: neck
Pickup being replaced: Stock Mexican tele neck
Other pickups on guitar: Seymour Duncan Alnico II brigdge
Artists using this pickup:
You musical style(s): Blues, Jazz, Rock
Reason for pickup change: Wanted fuller, chunkier sound

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: A bit more output than standard tele neck.
Tone: Balanced but lifeless.
Sonic evaluation: Ugly sound. No richness, very sterile. Did not work well with my setup -- Blues Jr. and minimal effects (Cry Baby, Overdive). I returned it to the store.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Did NOT work well as a blues/jazz pickup. May be good for heavy ditortion or otherwise processed sound.

Overall Rating : 2
Comments: The Lace Sensor was not a good match for me. May be good for heavily processed guitar sounds. Lame when exposed through a minimal setup -- no richness or depth.
