Reason for pickup change: The person I bought it from had them rewound the wrong way. The pickups did not humbuck and I was getting a very tinny sound.

Perceived output level:
Tone: More balanced and lush
Sonic evaluation: I use my guitar with a Fender princeton reverb tube amp.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: Hawaiian steel guitar. This is a great match.

Comments: Since this pickup rewinding, I've sent my other single neck stringmaster 8 pickup to be rewound. They both sound great and highly recommend Jason's work. And the price is right.
