into a Mexican fatstrat 2004 model.
wanted to upgrade the sound but did not want to pay high prices. I have had a 62 and 57 American reissue strat and liked the sound.the pickups already in the guitar were OK but not outstanding.

output is moderately hot compared to old jap fender pickups. my amp is a Peavey Delta blues with a Eminence Private Jack speaker. amp is upgraded throughout and has just an outstanding sound. to start out, I put these in a new pick-guard, lime green, going on a dark blue body.The normal range cap that fender gives with their pots will not work well with these pickups. it makes then sound like something to cut glass with. so I went and bought the recommended .047 cap. Wow what a great sound best I have had no matter what the cost. this strat is wired for seven sounds.

Best sound period. I have been noodling on a guitar for about 27 years. have had tons of strats. Cant go wrong here if you are looking for the sweet littlewing/castles made of sand Hendrix sound. Simply beautiful full sound.will probably put these or something else from Gfs in my other strat soon. it has Texas specials in it.
