This device gives you a ton of gain.It has a gain adjustment on the circuit board, I have it in it's lowest position and my guitar is twice as hot as stock.But the real beauty is in the eq.Versatility is what you get whe you start twisting the knobs.I can get a much fatter sound on the neck pickup or at my will eq it down to a thin bright sound.I can also do the same at the bridge setting..all without touching my amp!!This device can be used in any type of playing style.The player will obtain a clean powerfull output with the vesatility of active eq.

I plan to buy another just in case something goes wrong with it.

Reason for pickup change: Wanted to improve on the Korean OEM fitted electonics which
were below average, the workmanship/construction of the guitar which sounds good acoustically better , than some guitars at five times the price...

Perceived output level: As Soft or as Loud as you want, unlimited gain, unlimited tone mid treble bass and cut!!!
Tone: It is possible to have a whole range from single PUP to distorted Humbucker
Sonic evaluation: Setup is through a Boogie Studio 22+ and Satellite 60 for stereo, homemade pedal board with V Wah/Holy Grail Reverb/and various A/B/switches, all controlled by Ernie Ball Stereo Volume Pedal

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: I usually play teles/strats/PRS singlecut, recently formed a Duo, playing Jazz/Blues/forties to present day and needed a Jazz Box to adapt styles..
