Tried with various solid state and tube amps. The output is definately hotter than the stock pickup and it keeps the Tele sound; just more of it. I was hoping for a fatter sounding pickup with more bass and maybe more mids. You have to adjsut these pickups lower to the body otherwise the larger polepieces pull on the strings and affect that traditional Tele snap (just my opinion). It sounds good in distorted modes.

The wire guage is much thinner than the pickup of the stock American Tele. The thinner the wire guage, the higher the resistance, so maybe that's part of how they get their 10K. I'm not sure how much abuse such thin wire can take out on the road. I haven't had any issues yet but it is a concern. I've been playing for a long, long time.
