Features
:
Passive single coil with brass plates on bottoms of pups. Plates are claimed to give a strat a tele twang while retaining the Strat quack. Very interesting and usable but fall alittle short (but close) of an exact strat or tele sound. 9.43k bridge and 5.59 neck with cloth leads and alnico magnets.
Instrument
:
Peavey USA Predator with maple neck. Had the pups but never tried 'em so put 'em in with all US made parts.

Sweet. Bright. Think SRV with a little lower output. Tons of tone and articulation NO mud on clean and very little hum in a well sheilded and grounded guitar, the diaghrams at guitarnuts.com. Great pups for Blues, Blues-rock, Country. Process the crap out of it in position 2 and 4 and I guess you could even do metal.

I'd replace them if damaged and I could find them since they are OOP.Have several strats with SD 5-2's, SD quarter pound, EMG SA's, Lace red, blue, silver, Transensors, Alumitones etc. These kindof sound similiar to the Lace Alumitones (with 250k pots and .022 caps)
but with 60 cycle hum in 1,3,5 positions. Grag 'em if you can find 'em.
