I put these in an Agile 2300. The stock pups are ceramic magnet and sound good. The GFS P90 are alnico mags. I have bought nice sounding pickups from GFS in the past. Specifically Memphis and Liverpool Retrotrons, Mean 90s and Dream 90s. I was hoping for the good results from these.

Compared to the stock pups these are feeble. The neck pickup has nice sound but is weak compared to the stock pup. The bridge has pitiful tone as well as being weak. I thought for sure I had them wired wrong so I switched the leads on the bridge pickup. Nope. It sounded worse and combined they were obviously out of phase or what ever you call that weak tinny sound.

Compared to the stock pickups these are horrible. I don't want to waste any more time with these. They are so bad I can't in good conscience sell them on e-Bay.
I read other bad reviews about these. I should have believed what I read.
