Perceived output level: A little hotter than a Fralin 9k humbucker
Tone: Good! Balanced, all the notes come through well
Sonic evaluation: Wow, I kind of don't want to get the word out on these, but the seller was a nice guy so I told him I'd give him some feedback here. I just bought it because it was cheap and sounded like a cool pickup, and ended up keeping it in my guitar (my own custom, lacewood body, koa top semi-hollow). I'm playing it through a Laney LC15 amp, and it sounds great. I might even like it better than the Fralin, not sure though. Maybe if I paid more for it I would think it was better like many people do here on harmonycentral. I hate it when people give good reviews just to justify their spending too much for crap. Anyway, nice pickup, great for the price.
