Installed in an old Framus Studio Archtop. Pup goes on the neck. There wasn't anything electronic there yet, was curious. Only used a 500K volume pot and an output jack on it.
The guitar seems designed for amplification, it has a very thick top (about 1 cm).

Installed fairly close to the strings, so quite a lot of output. Around classic PAF.
Tone is well balanced, on the bassy side, but in a good way. It sounds fantastic through my old tube amp. Using a ED-1 Marshall compressor and RF-1 Marshall reverb. Sounds great through my overdrives, too. It does start feedbacking at medium volumes close to the amp.. no surprise, given; acoustic guitar; compressor etc. Very pleasantly surprising good sound.

Am now looking to get more of these old guitars, and installing one of these pups on everyone. Leaves nothing to desire.
