Installed in a Jay Turser Tele copy. This guitar was absolutely beautiful. Jay Tursers play like a dream, but some have weak electronics. I installed an American noiseless bridge pickup which to be honest, was a bit louder, but had the exact same tone.

The stock Turser NECK pickup was weak and muddy. Completely worthless to any tone freak. I was going to go with an American Tele pickup, but read about the GFS Fatboy Tele neck pickup. Got it on Ebay for $34 and when I installed it, I was truly amazed! It put out the tone of a pure American STRATOCASTER! Now, I was planning on getting a strat as well because I love the hot neck sounds. But with this thing, I can tune in that killer strat sound with a $200 Tele copy.

I have a champagne tone taste on a beer budget. I simply cannot afford a $1000 guitar, but want the sound and looks of one. I have found that cheap guitars can be made to sound like a million bucks with just the right electronics. The GFS fatboy tele neck pickup is everything and more that the company claims.
