Level is hot, fat and has a really good balanced sound to it. Great for chunky heavy rock with singing leads. I'm currently using it with a Line 6 Spider III(got rid of the marshall halfstack) and sounds great, the best yet, as you can see i've tried quite a few pickups in this guitar. I play hard rock, metal, blues etc. and the pickup is great for that, I wouldn't say it has a tight agressive sound for extreme music.

I would buy again, and I will buy again. This pickup gets the job done at a price that won't break your wallet. Not only does it get the job done it blows the competition away. If you like PAF style pickups try the vintage '59, I've had that one also and it kicks really good also.
