Comments: I hate to trash someone's work, but this pickup is absolute garbage. I originally bought his Classic Tele pickup on eBay. He claims his pickups eliminate the muddiness and lack of high end typical of the Tele neck pickup. The first one was dead and muddy with NO high end. He suggested I send him another $10 and he would replace it with his "best" pickup, the Vintage 131. This one sounds the same and actually has less output. Just awful sounding, worse than a stock cheap Fender one. I know these pickups are inexpensive, but in my mind they're not worth any ammount of money.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Nearly the same, this is a good thing.I was trying to keep the sound as original as possible.
Tone: Balanced
Sonic evaluation: I'm using Tele through a Kustom Tube12 amp and sometimes through a Crate GFS amp both sound good but I prefer the Kustom better.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: This pickup is suitable for Western Swing, Country,Blues and Classic Rock.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
Comments: If it were destroyed for this price will keep buying from Guitarfetish ,Jay gives good customer support even after sale. This pickup was close to the original the only diffrence it had, the lead wires were a little smaller in diameter.Dose not effect the sound at all very close to original.I'm happy with the tone, but if your in search for that"HOLY TONE" that is for you to decide!
