Reason for pickup change: I WOULD NOT CHANGE THIS PICKUP FOR ANYTHING. FOR ONE THING IT WAS GRANDFATHER (r.i.p) and it is an ORIGINAL 1959 EXPLROER.

Perceived output level: awesome.....fits almost every type of music except for country and gospel
Tone: evrything
Sonic evaluation: Running it through a original TS808 and a new TS9DX ( combined together), a DOD delay, DOD chorus, a jimi hendrix wah wah, and a 1977ish ibanez compresor . my amp is a 1978 Fender Princton Reverb.
For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: skynyrd, zz top, chili peppers... it suits it
