Features
:
Pair of passive zebra humbuckers - neck 9.6k & bridge 15k with 4 wires plus ground wire. Alnico 5 magnets.
Instrument
:
Installed on a Westfield E2000 (SG style) guitar replacing both original pickups. They look superb. The original pickups were chrome covered humbuckers (9.6k) which seemed to lack depth & warmth compared to my Yamaha RGX121S. I wanted a richer clean tone from the guitar.

Output: medium high although the bridge was a bit lower. They lack clarity & depth. These pickups are a big disappointment to me with no improvement over the original G&B (ceramic?) pickups. No real character at all. I only play through a Vox ADVT15 practice - amp usually on clean settings for jazz & blues type music. Have tried with 0.022 & .047 mf caps but not much difference. The only tone I like is with both pickups selected.

I won't buy these again. I have previously bought other Artec pickups and have been pleased with them. The Giovanni range are their best ones according to the blurb. Maybe my Westfield is the wrong guitar for these ones? I've only been playing for 3 years & am not very good. I may try some P90's on this guitar next time.
I will be removing these from my Westfield & will replace the original pickups. A big dissapointment! I think I will sell them on eBay!
