Features :
These pick-ups come as a set. One bridge and one neck. They $47.00 u.s. for the set and that is including shipping. They are a passive pick-up but you wouldn't know it. the pick-up's are wired so you can set up a splitter so you can get a single coil sound.(I haven't set this feature up yet). they come in white or black. They have a one piece chromed plate on the top of each coil instead of pins. the set I bought where white and had really nice print in silver on the bridge side coil of each humbucker.

Instrument :
I installed this set of pick-ups in a dean dime-o-flage ml. which is in the low end of the dime series of guitars. However mine seems to be a jem. super nice playablity and sound. Cheesy graphic though.(I'm going to redo the camoflage without the dime shadows. I liked the pick-ups in it but wanted something hotter.(the dime-o-flage does not come with a dimebucker). The original pick-ups are dean in house made pick-ups.

Sound : 10
These Megametal's a sick! they sound a lot like EMG 81/85's but with more low end push and ring out better on pitch harmonics. I use a crate GFX 212 and a Marshall JCM600 with Electro Harmonics Power tubes and slovtec preamp tubes. I use an Electro Harmonics Metal Muff Pedal.
The tone is awesome A ton of low end but really clear and a tight sound with lot's of high end. they are perfect for all kinds of metal. the only thing about these that some people might not like it they make a slight overdriven sound when playing clean but I like it. I play mostly a cross between Death metal and speed metal. the pick-ups are perfect. I prefer using the bridge pick-up but the neck sounds just as good.

Overall Rating : 10
I am going to put Guitarheads in all my guitars. I love them! plus they are way cheaper than something this good sounding normally does.
I've been playing for 10 years now. i own a Japanese Ibanez S470 with a fixed bridge and a Jackson Kelly.
love the overall high output of these pick-ups. I hate that they are not more well known. they deserve to be.
I tried EMG's 81/85's and Demarzio Evolutions and these ones made the sound I was looking for but for a way better price.(i really like EMG's but they are expensive to install)
I love the sound of these pick-ups had to turn the low down on my amp from the previous setting though.
Don't be afraid to try this companies pick-ups they are bet than you will expect. Plus if you don't like them they are only 40 bucks!!

Features :
Passive humbuckers, sold as a pair, bar design, rather than individual bolts, in either white or black. (Dimarzio holds the patent on all-cream colored humbuckers?!?)

Bridge - DC Resistance: 15.1K Ohms
Neck - DC Resistance: 8.87K Ohms

Instrument :
I put these in a Washburn WI66ANC, a Les Paul-style solidbody with a very thick mahogany body and set neck. The guitar came with EMGs, but those pickups were worth more to me on eBay than in my guitar. I installed GuitarHeads Hexbuckers after that. I liked them, but transplanted them into my Washburn X35.

Sound : 9
I won't give a 10 on this. I'm assuming Bareknuckle pickups are 10s, given their price. These are great. They are high output, but I swear they have more dimension than the Hexbuckers. I started buying GuitarHeads pickups because I have always preferred ceramic magnets in my pickups. Alnico are great, but tend to be more rounded and closer to muddy. Ceramics are bright, articulate, and if you find them a bit harsh, you now have a use for that tone control on your guitar.

There probably is no better pickup for heavy metal than the EMG-81 in the bridge position, but they are a bit of a one-trick pony, and that's pretty extravagant, given their price. With these I can get pinch harmonics, I can shape my sound in different ways, and they give another dash of chrome to my guitar.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for about 30 years now, just for fun, but I can definitely play. I love playing metal most of all, but I do plenty of classic rock and alternative. Mainly I've got my Washburn WI66ANC with these pickups running into a Line6 PODxt out to powered speakers. I've played many guitars through the years. This Washburn is among the very best, the PODxt does uncanny representations of many different amp rigs, and these pickups are the cheapest link in my signal chain. This tells me that only multi-millionaire rockstars need $50+ pickups. Save your money, leave the high-end stuff to people obsessed with labels, and build your sound the smart way.
