Replacing original P90.
On the bridge i have a Headsmasher Soulsmasher bumbucker 8.2k.
Good complement and balance of pick-ups in terms of volume and tone.
Old original pick-up rotten with too many years of sweat and finger nail shavings.

The Soulsmasher on the bridge is a nice pick-up but the Grider90 is something else entirely. This pick-up gives me a hard on, its so big and warm and wide. The blurb on this site said don't go over the top, nothing is perfect, super dooper reviews may not be credible and might not get published. Good, don't publish this and then i can have it all to my self, no one else need ever know.
I've been playing for a long time and for the most part whenever i've spent money on a new guitar, amp, puck-up, gizmo - i've always thought 'that sounds nice but if i had one of those as well it would sound even nicer'. Not this time, just guitar straight into amp (old marshall master volume) sounds gorgeous and puts a big grin on my ugly old mug.
The tonal range that you can get by rolling of the volume or tone pots is lovely. I like heavy stoner riffy rock and for that its great. Without pushing the gain on the amp too much you have a deep rich but punchy sound and those open cords sound gigantic.

After having played this for a few weeks now i can't ever imagine not ever having one, it is the Barry White of P90 style pick-ups.
It is honestly the best buy i've made for as long as i can remember, which in a world when it feels like everyone is out to get you is nice. I'm feeling really quite smug about this purchase - can't you tell?
