Features :
Pickup features: Single coil, Passive, very thin in size. It has a chrome metal cover with bent metal tabs TIGHTLY holding the coil in place
Impedence or other specs: somewhere between 7.1K ohms and 8.9 K ohms

Instrument :
Model of guitar or bass: Originally in a Frankenstien my Aunt bought for me for parts, now in another garage made Jazzmaster based guitar
Position: neck
Pickup being replaced: New equiptment on my homemade guitar, the Jacobsen Trashmaster
Other pickups on guitar: Ibanez L.A. Humbucker (Neck position pickup in the lead position)
Artists using this pickup: Probably some old guy in Hong Kong
You musical style(s): Grunge, Metal, New Wave, Jazz,
Reason for pickup change: I thought the Frankenstien guitar it came on was revolting! The guitar had a Harmony Les Paul copy neck, a Kramer/Jackson style body routed for 2 s-coils and a humbucker and a Floyd Rose, a Harmony student guitar Tailpiece and Bridge, and the pickup itself came off of a Harmony beginners guitar made somewhere in the 1970's to the early 1980's. I had a couple guitars and bodies in need of parts and hardware at the time so I decided to use this one for parts as well as a basis for a new guitar. The neck went to a rebuilt Harmony student, the body will be used for something Kramer based, and the pickup was installed on this expieremental body made of pressure treated pine and construction grade plywood. I decided to use it because It fit the Teisco Del-Ray pickgaurd that I had fitted to the body.

Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: Another one of those good Harmony pickups, it really hot and balenced sounding, a very rare trait for a Harmony pickup.
Tone: Well balanced. This is another new favorite pickup of mine.
Sonic evaluation: See my other reviews for the amps effects and blah.
As for the current guitar, it is this homemade cross between a
Fender Jazzmaster, a Mosrite, and a Teisco Del Ray.

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: This pickup is one of the bestof my band, Lithium. I used it to record a single
