Sound : No Opinion
Perceived output level: medium, not as hot as an invader
Tone: Dirty, undefined. kinda flat. the single coil and parallel modes are great though.
Sonic evaluation: I'm using a POD pro into a SS power amp. the low strings, B and E, are flat and muddy. harmonics of any kind are impossible to hear. the highs are good, but the sound lacks a crunch or drive of any kind. lead tones are buzzy and don't sustain for long(no it's not my POD).

For which styles and positions is this pickup (un)suitable: for anything short of clean guitar, throw these guys out.

Overall Rating : 5
Comments: Ibanez says they are made by Dimarzio in the US. i doubt that. maybe by a monkey in the corner on the "old smokey." these things suck hairy donkey balls, and make the guitar sound like shit. i am replacing them with a Blaze Custom (bridge) and Tone Zone (neck).
